St Martin's
by Martin Stuart
The birds sing clear and sweetly
The flowers grow bright and lush
The bees buzz long and deeply
The waves urge all to hush
The sun shines warm and brightly
The rain comes when it must
And the moon that sails by nightly
Holds the land safely in trust
For with the dawn on Scilly
Comes an urgent call to peace
And all stress and strain and hurry
Fade in one day-long release
