Faerie Tale
By Martin Stuart
I love you saying "Can we go?", choking orange as I sip.
I love you holding hands, as Venetian steps we skip,
I love you on the decking, to watch your shooting star.
I love you climbing over, sitting in my little car.
I love you there in East Court, at your 'yes' I dance and sing!
I love you in a gondola, your finger takes the ring.
I love you on my motorbike, cuddling from behind.
I love you in the office, making sure to close the blind.
I love you in a Cretan bay, where sunset meets the sea.
I love you at the bus stop, waiting patiently for me.
I love you working Wakehurst, freedom raining from the air.
I love you down in Eastbourne, where no-one seems to care.
I love you in the car parks, filled with passion and with thrill.
I love you in the forest, where time is almost still.
I love you through the day and night, I love you through the years,
A love to stand the test of time and wipe away the tears.
